Gender Equality and Business Problems in Sweden

Sweden is often hailed as one of the best countries in the world when it comes to gender equality. But it’s not all as rosy as you might imagine. Within the EU only Ireland and Malta are worse when it comes to the amount of women in leading positions in business. Only 3.9% of Swedish women own their own companies. Not the most impressive figure.
