Childhood Poverty Down but Gap Between Sweden's Rich and Poor Widens

According to a new report from “Save the Children Sweden” childhood poverty in Sweden is on the wane but discrepancies between rich and poor children is on the rise. Areas with little poverty in the early 1990s have become richer but high poverty areas are even poorer now. Children from single parent households with a foreign parent stand a one in two chance of sliding into poverty.
