The Swedish Security Service is investigating three Swedish-Somalian men’s alleged activities within the militant Islamic organisation al-Shabaab. The men are suspected of financially supporting al-Shabaab. The day after their arrest, the al-Shabaab organisation made the USA’s terrorist list, even though it is not included on the United Nation’s or the European Communion’s lists. According to Swedish law, financing an organisation that promotes or supports terrorism is illegal.
