Violence and harassment towards teachers are becoming an everyday occurrence in the corridors of Swedish schools, according the latest study from the National Union of Teachers. The figures come in a debate article in Swedish newspaper, Dagens Nyheter. The investigation reveals that one in ten teachers are harassed at work while one in twenty are subject to violence and often on more than one occasion.
